Casa Limone was born from the desire to bring our favorite parts of the Mediterranean to the historic heart of New York – a way to experience food and culture that is more than 7000 miles away simply by entering our doors on East 49th Street.
Monte Carlo Hospitality (MCHG) created a space that complements the food by pulling inspiration from the streetscapes and outdoors of southern Italian villages.
Guests are welcomed by a restored antique lemon-yellow Vespa and Pietra Lavica-tiled walls.
Spread over two floors, guests enjoy a rich, joyful and energetic dining experience enhanced with a color palate of orange, mustard yellow, royal blue and forest green alongside detailed tiles, hanging flowers, Murano water glasses and hand-painted plates from Caltagirone, Sicily.
The menu offers the flavors, wines and spirits of Chef Antonio Salvatore’s upbringing in Basilicata and neighboring regions. Through the food, décor and staff, we bring the warmth of the Mediterranean that reigns in Southern Italy to New York.
